As of right now, I only have a surface-level knowledge of the kinds of applications that pertain to Natural Language Processing. I still need to research how this kind of software actually works, as well as where this industry is going. I need to some in-depth study so that I can gain a better understanding as to why this industry is important to the development of AI.
I am a little nervous for this website, because I do not have a background of web design. I also am not an ATEC major so I do not have much of a creative eye. But I am also excited to learn about something new that is starting to be more prevalent in daily life.
I am a little worried about this project, because there are already several websites from established AI developers that convey the same information that I want to. I am also coming from a starting point of virtually zero base knowledge about the world of AI. Because of this, I am worried that I will not understand the information that I research and will relay it incorrectly. I do not want to spread misinformation. I'm also worried that my project is too simple for a semester-long work.
The goal of this project is to create an informational website about Natural Language Processing whose targeted audience is AI beginners. I want the information to be easily digestable. I feel like a lot of the existing websites approach their information in a way that suggests the reader already has some previous knowledge about Natural Language Processing. I want to eliminate those types of barrier that prevent learning.
I think I could consider broadening the scope of my project. I think my project is so simple that there is not much room to try new things. At the same time, I do not have an idea yet what exactly I would add.
Virtually nothing has been done for the project, I hate to admit. I think my next step is to start doing more in-depth research so that I can broaden my own knowledge of the topic and think more about what kind of information I want to put on my website.
I think I would like focus more on adding more sophisticated effects to my website. I want to use a lot of graphics to make the presentation of information easier to read and understand.
