The Three Broomsticks Inn (established 1452) is a popular inn and pub in the all wizarding village of Hogsmeade, which is often frequented by students from the neighbouring Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The inn is often warm, crowded, and a bit smoky, but clean and welcoming. A mirror behind the bar reflects the cozy atmosphere, and popular drinks such as Butterbeer and Firewhisky are served in glasses and in foaming pewter tankards, as well as gillywater, Mulled Mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella. The Three Broomsticks is owned and operated by Madam Rosmerta.
Honeydukes is a wizarding sweet shop located on High Street in the all-wizarding village of Hogsmeade. It was first established in 1641 and is owned by Ambrosius Flume and his wife, and is filled with "shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable". In addition to the standard wizarding candy that is sold there, the owners also make their own fudge and chocolate. For obvious reasons, the shop is quite a popular destination for Hogwarts students when visiting Hogsmeade on the weekends and during the Christmas season, one can barely move due to the crowd of visitors!
The Hog's Head Inn is a slightly disreputable inn and pub in the all-wizarding village of Hogsmeade. It is located one or two streets off of the High Street, the Hog's Head Inn is a fixture of Hogsmeade for several years. The Inn was owned and operated by Aberforth Dumbledore in the 1990s. Earlier, in the 1890s, it was operated by Jasper Trout. A worn-out wooden sign hangs over the door, advertising with a 'wild boar's severed head leaking blood onto the white cloth around it'. It is known for its cheapness, at least relative to the Three Broomsticks down the street, and according to Albus Dumbledore, attracts an interesting clientele.
